The Community Services Department overall goal is to provide community outreach and support, promote relationships and spiritual development in the community. This department is actively involved in three community outreach programs:
Craiglee Nursing Home – monthly visitation. 3rd Saturdays of each month. 2:30-3:30 P.M.
Malvern Food Bank and Self-Serve Food Bank – Service is provided on a weekly basis Thursday from 10 am to 5:00 pm. The Food Bank serves 130 to 150 families per week. Clients are served between the hours of 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm. The food bank is located at 20 Sewells Road in Scarborough. The Malvern Family Resource Centre partners with us to feed lunch once per month to the food bank clients. We also partner with the Malvern Presbyterian Church who provide donated goods from their church members. In addition, school located in the area donate items collected during student food drives.
Agincourt Community Services Drop in Lunch – a hot nutritious mean is provided monthly for 50 to 70 individuals at 4155 Shepherd Avenue East.
